My hubby is my reason. In 2008, we received a potential diagnosis of CIDP. One of the treatments for CIDP is IVIG treatments. He received these every 6 weeks. But, he wasn't getting better and we asked to have him re-evaluated. In 2010, we finally received an accurate diagnosis for POEMS Syndrome, and extremely rare blood disorder. The treatment for POEMS is Apharesis as well as chemo therapy. Through the process, my husband had to receive 3 units of blood after aphaeresis. Blood donations literally saved my husband's life. There are generous people out in the world that I will never be able to thank. .... God bless.
