I donate to honour my beloved sister, Janet Nagle Cameron, RN.
Janet was a dedicated compassionate surgical Nurse, who died as a result of a car accident driving home from a shift at Hamilton General Hospital. Way back in August 1989.
She was 26 years old, a young wife, daughter, sister, The Fun Aunt, full of life, blissfully happy.
Before she died, the medical/nursing team worked tirelessly to save her life, trying everything, including many units of blood. While we said goodbye that horrible day, her family will always be grateful for the kindness and care Janet received to the last possible second.
I continue to donate to honour my beautiful sister and know my small blood donations will help others in their critical times of need.
