Hypogammaglobulinemia (Low Immune System)

My name is Cody Gascho, I am 28 years old, I live in Stayner, Ontario, Canada. Here is my story.

I have been reading stories about people needing blood to survive and it is critical for people to donate blood all of the time, also they still need to donate blood during tough times through SARS Disease in 2002 and Coronavirus Disease in 2020. People need to donate blood all of the time and they still need to donate blood when the World has outbreaks. People need blood to survive to live and if people do not donate blood, people will not survive and people will die. When I was five years old I was diagnosed with Hypogammaglobulinemia (Low Immune System). I have to get IVIG (White Blood Cells) every four weeks and I have to get it for my entire life, it is what keeps me alive. If I do not get the Treatment, I will not survive and I will die. I am always worried with the Coronavirus Disease and any outbreak in the World, that there would be a blood shortage and that always worries me since I need blood to survive. It is critical for me and people to get blood to survive to live. I do not know if my story can get out or not, but I would like if my story can get out to help people understand. I hope people understand how critical it is for people that need blood. I hope people donate blood all of the time, and I hope people donate blood during outbreaks in the World. It saves people's lives, you are saving people's lives and you are saving my life. Thank you.
